Licorice Zine is a local, submission-based zine which I did the design work for this year. My client is a 21 year old fine art student called Megan, who collected submissions (art, poetry, photography, etc) and wrote the ‘Letter from the Editor’. I collected extra content, created a custom typeface (hand drawn), did the layout, promotion material, helped direct the photoshoot and overall did the creative direction for the first edition of the zine. The second edition is a mini zine featuring local film photographers from Perth.
