I’m Maya originally born in Melbourne, I moved to the Sunshine Coast with my family when I was little, and spent most of my childhood there. In 2019 I relocated to Perth, I decided to make the big move to expand my horizons and I’ve never looked back.

My main skills are in graphic design and illustrating, I adore painting animals and have a keen love for dogs of all shapes and sizes. In my spare time, I enjoy making greeting cards, stickers, zines, art prints and original watercolour pieces, which I often sell at local markets.

Nice to meet you!

I’m currently available for freelance work, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to work together. You can contact me via my form (on home page) or email.

  • In my last semester at Curtin I was lucky enough to intern at the Monk Media office once a week. I had a great time learning from the crew and thoroughly enjoyed my time in their cosy, green studio space in East Perth. I helped out with web design, branding jobs and some illustration work. Here is the Monk website in case you’re not familiar with them. They do amazing work!

  • I’ve been working as a freelance designer for the past 5 years. I’m super passionate about branding and helping small businesses grow. I usually find myself not only doing designs for my clients, but also acting as a consultant and strategist for them, I always enjoy guiding and educating my clients and building relationships. I take pride in being easy to work with, and I’m glad I have a few recurring customers who trust me to manage their socials or graphics over time.

  • Lastly, I absolutely love collaborating with other creatives or small businesses. Some notable collabs include:
    AIIMO – Ryan Ausden
    SS Fundraiser – Mark Ashforth
Tech, Sex and Social Media – Noelle Martin (you can see this project on my Instagram Page)
